cheers man. this is my job so Im not eligible to win the competition.

when you do photochops. make sure to keep under the gaurds and around the wheels as dark as you can get away with. makes things alot easier.

also remember most light sources are from above the wheel arch so a shadow will be found on the wheel just under the shape of the arch. and also corespondingly the chrome will have a darker area close to the wheel arch.

also the shape of the pillars are important to the overal look of the car. so when roof choping cut the roof off. make it a new layer. cut the back of the roof off and make that a new layer . make sure the pillars all line up then fill in the gaps with the clone and heal brushes.

the windows on the left hand side of the car are bigger then the windows on the right.

use the polygon selection tool to cut things out in a chop. don't use a brush.

the next level for you will be adding reflestions on hte wheels. the wheels on your image have had no reflection so look a bit out of place somewhere like the paintworks yard.

hope this helps.

have you done any others?

the link above should take you to my chop shop pages on my old site. there are some step by step guides to things in there.
